Rider and Ride organiser and logistics
I’ve been riding for over 12 years now, after being inspired by a former Yacht Owner that I worked for; “how hard can it be” I thought… well, not as hard as someone who has battled, or is battling cancer.
I lost both my Father and my Step-Father to cancer, so, like many others involved with the charity, being able to take part – not only as a rider, but now as part of the organising team, has a very personal meaning to me.
Never one to shy away from a challenge, I was delighted to be asked to head up the group organising the ride. There are some fantastic plans ahead, with the ride this year just being the start of what I feel, is going to be a great future for the charity.
I am massively driven by the results of from the last C4C events and believe that our future endeavours should be at least equal to the rides and riders that have gone before us…and we have a lot to live up to!
I’m a huge believer that the funds generated by Cogs4Cancer, directed into the right channels to give education, prevention, curative and correct after care, will serve cancer a “right royal knock down”!
